Pra-Loup is one of the most southern resorts of the Alps. Located only 7 km from Barcelonnette, the sun is almost always present in the resort. The Grand Angle domain is composed of 48 slopes with 19 lifts spread over 180 km. At 2h30 from Marseille by car, it is one of the favorite resorts for southerners, partly because of its constant sunshine. The resort is in two parts. One part at 1600 meters of altitude in the middle of the larch trees at the foot of the slopes, and a second, quieter part at 1500 meters, further from the center of the resort.
La Grave is a resort located at 1500 meters of altitude. Between Serre Chevalier, and the 2 Alpes, and above the Meiji massif. This station is known to be classified among the most beautiful villages of France. The only ski lift of the resort takes you to 3600 meters of altitude with a breathtaking view. It is also considered one of the best freeride ski spots in Europe.
Its ski area has the particularity of having only one slope. A blue run of 2 km. Indeed, La Grave is a resort based essentially on freeride skiing. It is therefore more suitable for experienced skiers.
