The ski area of Serre Chevalier includes 3 resorts: Briançon in the west, Serre Chevalier in the center, and Monêtier les Bains in the east. The slopes are adapted for all levels, and will allow you to spend good moments with your family or friends.

The resort has 2 main snow fronts: Chantemerle on the Briançon side, and Villeneuve on the Monêtier les bains side. The ski area extends from Briançon, at 1200 meters altitude, to Monêtier les bains, Pic de L'Yret at 2820 meters altitude.

In order to ensure that skiers receive quality snow throughout the ski season, the resort has equipped itself with various devices.

Serre Chevalier has a large snowmaking network, which allows it to ensure optimal snow conditions. With these 400 snow cannons, nothing will prevent you from enjoying artificial snow, even if the weather is not good this season.
Moreover, snow barriers have been installed on the slopes. They will allow you to collect the natural snow, to be able to distribute it on the different areas of the resort.

If you want to make the most of your ski pass, we recommend one of the many accommodations located at the foot of the slopes.

If you wish to be further away from the resort, many accommodations (hotels, gites, residences) are available in the neighboring villages of the resort. This will allow you to enjoy escapades and hikes in the middle of nature.

The resort of Serre Chevalier is famous in France for the quality of its ski teaching. The resort has obtained a national fame thanks to one of the French skiers: Luc Alphand. The former world champion, native of this station, has long carried the popularity of this station.

There are many ski schools in this resort. In particular, the 2 biggest ski school networks, the ESF and the ESI are well represented. The ski lessons are given at the departure of the different snow fronts.
