With its 3 different sectors (Solaise, Le Fornet and de la Daille) and an access to Tignes by the slopes, Val d'Isère gives you access to more than 300 km of slopes and allows you to reach the Glacier de la Grande Motte culminating at 3653m.

Val d'Isère, the village resort

In 1932, the village turned definitively to skiing with the creation of the first ski school.

This small high altitude village has grown in a balanced way to accommodate many prestigious establishments and a wide variety of activities. The resort is one of the first large resorts in Savoie today, but has managed to preserve its authentic architecture and warm atmosphere.

At the foot of the Espace Killy, one of the largest ski areas in Europe, it is now one of the most famous ski resorts in the world.

Val D'Isère, the resort for all types of learning

To learn to ski or snowboard, the resort offers a very varied playground. For beginners, many slopes are labeled "quiet ski". There is even a free beginners' zone with the Savonette and Village ski lifts on the central snow front, and the Lanches ski lift at La Daille.

For the more experienced, there is something for everyone: from the small slopes in the forest to the mythical steep slope of the Bellevarde face, drawn up on the initiative of a certain Jean-Claude Killy, and the scene of the speed events at the Albertville Olympic Games in 1992.
