Val d’Isère, the village resort

The village turned definitively towards skiing in 1932, with the creation of its first ski school.

This small altitude village then grew in a balanced way to accommodate numerous prestigious establishments and a wide variety of activities. The resort is one of the first large resorts in Savoie today, but has managed to preserve its authentic architecture and warm atmosphere.

At the bottom of the Espace Killy, one of the largest ski areas in Europe, it is now one of the most renowned ski resorts in the world.
