Avoriaz is a high altitude ski resort known for being an entirely pedestrian resort, but also for its quality ski area.
Ecological and entirely accessible on skis thanks to its entirely pedestrian and snow-covered village. This resort forbids cars, transforming the streets into ski slopes. Situated at an altitude of 1800 m, nature is all around you.
The facilities respect your environment and everything invites you to discover the mountain traditions.
The resort is located in the municipality of Morzine, halfway between Chamonix and Geneva, in Haute-Savoie, at an altitude of 1,800 m. In the resort, we won't come across any cars: the streets are reserved for pedestrians, skiers and... horses!
Situated in the heart of the Portes du Soleil ski area, Avoriaz offers an ideal starting point to the 650 km of slopes of the largest transnational ski area in the world (France and Switzerland).
