Am I insured during my ski lessons?

If you have not taken out insurance, you are not insured for your ski lessons. You will therefore need to take out insurance if you want to enjoy your snow holiday without restraint. You can now subscribe to the Sports and Leisure card insurance to be fully covered!

How to subscribe to Leisure and Sports insurance?

When making your reservation request, mention your interest in taking out insurance. You will find in our email proposal the different insurance offered, as well as their respective prices. If one of them is suitable, thank you for informing us the name, first name, postal address of the subscriber, as well as the same information for the persons to be guaranteed. Also, do not forget to mention the desired insurance.

What are the repayment terms?

Do you accept payment in cash ?

We do not accept payment in cash for the good reason that we do not have a physical room in the resort. You can book your lessons online for better efficiency.

Is it possible to pay by check ?

It is quite possible to pay by check. Just let us know when you make your reservation. However, we are not taking holiday vouchers yet this season because of the health situation in particular.

Can I make a gift voucher ?

Do you want to give a gift to your loved ones? Inform us by email or by phone, we will send you the gift voucher by email, easily printable.

Can I rent my equipment with my lessons ?

We do not take care of the rental of the equipment. On the other hand, you can benefit from a preferential reduction thanks to our promo code (to be found in our proposal emails), ranging from 5% to 20%.

How to book a course ?

Once your confirmation has been given to one of our team members (by phone or email), you will receive a payment link by email. All you need to do is enter your bank details to finalize your reservation (like an online purchase).

Which pass to choose between the Val Thorens pass and the 3 valleys pass?

We recommend the Val Thorens lift pass if you have a beginner level (up to 1st star for a child, or Class 2 level for an adult). This will be more than enough.

Is it possible to take half-day packages?

The ski lifts only offer day passes.

Free plans for whom?

The lucky ones are children under 5 years old and those over 75 years old: they benefit from a free ski pass on presentation of an official document *!

Do you sell packages?

We offer children's and adult packages at preferential rates 25% cheaper than the public prices. You can benefit from this child package if you are between 5 and 13 years old (free for children under 5) and a level up to the 1st star (Bronze Crystal)

We do not have a nursery for the children, nor a nursery.

What exactly will I find in the application?

Our Ski Family app is one of a kind. You will be able to have access to all the information concerning your course, that is to say the schedule, the meeting point, the number of days, etc. You can also discover your instructor in advance thanks to a small photo and description of him.

Once your course has been booked, we will send you your username and password by email. You can then download it to your smartphone!

We offer private lessons on the Saturday day.

Are there any off-piste group lessons ?

We can possibly set up group lessons off-piste if we have at least 4 students in the group. Reserved for children with a very good level of skiing.

Do you offer handiski lessons ?

We do not offer handiskiing at Risoul station for the moment.

Do you offer handiski lessons?

We of course offer handiski lessons (minimum 3 hours) with a specialist instructor on the resort, subject to availability. The equipment can be rented up to 25 € / day.

Do you have a kindergarten for children under 5 ?

We do not have a kindergarten. We offer private lessons for children from 3 years old. You can choose the duration as well as the number of days.

Can I register my child under 5 ?

You can enroll your child under 5 in a private lesson of course. You have the choice of the number of days, the duration and the hours. However, you will unfortunately not be able to register for group lessons. They do not have the same ability to concentrate and tire more quickly. The pace is too important for them.

How are the groups of group lessons distributed?

Groups are divided by age and level, from 5 to 13 years old. All our groups are limited to a maximum of 8 students: no exception.

How many days do the group lessons last ?

We offer group lessons over 6 days, from Sunday to Friday. For families arriving on Sunday, we also offer 5 days, Monday to Friday.
